Refund Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

We would rather not keep money from someone who isn’t getting anything out of StudyPass. This page explains when you can get a refund, how to ask for one, and what happens next. It applies to every paid StudyPass plan and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Try it before you pay

StudyPass has a free plan. It needs no payment method, and it lets you build a space, upload your own material, and use every tool on it for a limited number of AI requests. We would rather you found out that way whether StudyPass suits you than paid first and asked for it back.

2. 14-day refund

You can request a full refund within 14 days of a payment — your first subscription payment or any renewal. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you to justify it.

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, this sits alongside your statutory right of withdrawal, which we will honour in full. Nothing on this page reduces a right you have by law.

3. After 14 days

Past 14 days we do not refund a billing period that is already running, because you have had access to the paid plan for it. You can cancel at any time, which stops the next renewal and leaves your access in place until the period you have paid for ends.

There are exceptions, and we apply them without argument: if the Service was broken or unavailable for a meaningful part of the period, if you were charged twice for the same period, if a renewal was taken after you cancelled, or if someone used your payment method without your permission. Write to us and we will put it right.

4. How to ask

Either route works, and neither is slower than the other:

  • Email us at support@studypass.app from the address on your account, and say which payment you mean. You do not need an order number — we can find it.
  • Or use the link in the receipt Paddle emailed you when you paid, which opens Paddle’s own support for that order.

We aim to reply within two business days. Once a refund is approved, Paddle returns the money to the method you paid with — typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. We cannot refund to a different card or account than the one charged.

5. Cancelling

Cancelling and refunding are separate things. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not return the current period on its own. You can cancel from your account, or from the link in any Paddle receipt, and you will get confirmation by email — if you don’t, tell us, because that means it didn’t work.

6. Who handles the payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com Market Ltd is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so charges appear on your statement as Paddle, and Paddle processes refunds and cancellations on our instruction. You can read the detail in section 8 of our Terms.

7. Contact us

Questions about a payment, a refund, or a charge you don’t recognise? Email support@studypass.app and a person will read it.
